X-ray | Diagnostic Imaging
Our Diagnostic Imaging department is a 24/7 service. 
We have CT Scanning (CAT scans), Mammography,
and x-ray. If you have an order for an x-ray, mam-
mogram or CT scan from any provider or facility you
may have this service done at Mark Reed. This can
save you travel and waiting time for appointments.
We can usually schedule you for your CT examination
or mammogram within 2-3 days. We can do the pro-
cedure at our facility and then we send the images to
South Sound Radiology in Olympia for interpretation.
These results are sent to your provider in a timely
manner to assist in your treatment.
Annual mammograms are recommended for women over the age of 40 and for younger women who have a history of cancer in their family, especially breast cancer. They are also part of an annual “Well Woman” check-up, which you can receive in our Healthcare Clinic. If you should be receiving a mammogram or check-up but do not have insurance or funding to pay for it, please contact the Diagnostic Imaging manager about your options for financial assistance. Early detection is the key to beating breast cancer! 
Mark Reed works with the Washington Breast & Cervical Health Program and the East Grays Harbor Cancer Society to help uninsured and low-income women receive their annual examinations. For information on how to donate to either of these organizations to continue the preventative care for the women in our communities, you may contact donate to the Mark Reed Hospital Foundation in the name of the EGH Cancer Society.
